Our Facilities
Re-refining Process & Infrastructure
Blue Tide’s plant in Baytown, Texas produces more than 5,000 barrels of base and process oils daily through an industry-leading circular re-refining process — including used motor oil (UMO) upgrading and a state-of-the-art hydrotreatment process to produce Group II/II+ base oils, process oils, low-sulfur fuel, vacuum gas oil (VGO) and flux extender. Additionally, our on-site terminal tanks hold up to 220,000 BBL with access to third-party facilities that expand our storage capacity.
Laboratory
Our state-of-the-art laboratory is designed to support the most advanced testing methods. Our highly experienced chemists and skilled technicians test every aspect of our operations — from feedstock and distillation to hydrotreating and finished products — to uphold quality control. Customers can be assured that all of our products meet specifications and are compliant with environmental regulations.
Logistics & Transportation
Blue Tide’s impressive footprint includes an on-site two-slip barge dock — capable of loading and unloading 30,000 BBL barges — and rail access that keeps product flowing in and out. Additionally, shipping ports off the Gulf of Mexico enable the delivery of a continuous, sustainable supply of high-performance oils for years to come.
